Nnaji Arinzechukwu Raymond — Frontend Engineer

Building interfaces that users love and engineers enjoy maintaining.

I build scalable, high-performance web applications with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture. From AI-powered mobile apps to travel booking platforms and real-time dashboards — I turn complex ideas into polished digital products.

About

Engineering polished frontends since 2021.

Over the last four years I've built production-grade frontend applications with a singular focus on performance, accessibility, and reusable architecture. I care about the seams of software — the design tokens, the loading states, the empty screens, the type boundaries — because that's where great products are made or unmade.

I've shipped AI-powered mobile apps, real-time travel booking platforms, marketplaces, and dashboards used every day. I enjoy solving the hard problems: integrating complex APIs, taming state, hitting Lighthouse scores in the high 90s, and shaping component systems that teams can move fast on without breaking things.

Code should be inevitable, not clever. Interfaces should feel obvious, not decorated.

Products I've designed and shipped.

A handful of the projects I'm most proud of. Each shipped to real users with real KPIs behind them.

Experience

Where I've been shipping code.

frontend developer · Robolens

  • Integrated AI models to enhance application functionality and user experience.
  • Integrated APIs across both admin and user dashboards, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • integrating of payment subscriptions on mobile

frontend developer · oneway

  • Translated Figma web app designs into responsive, production-ready React code.
  • Integrated APIs across both admin and user dashboards, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Collaborated with backend developers to achieve smooth API communication and minimize integration issues.
  • Contributed to the MVC architecture setup, improving scalability and maintainability.
  • Implemented interactive Maps functionality to enable real-time product delivery tracking.
Engineering Philosophy

Software people actually use.

The principles I keep coming back to after four years of shipping product. Held loosely, revised often.

Clean architecture

Boundaries that survive team growth. Components that compose, don't collide.

Performance first

Frame budgets, bundle audits, and Core Web Vitals treated as product requirements.

Developer experience

Type-safe APIs, generators, and design tokens that make the right thing easy.

Component-driven

Small primitives, deliberate composition. Storybook when it earns its keep.

Accessible by default

Keyboard, screen reader, motion-safe. Accessibility as a design constraint, not a checklist.

Ship, then polish

Real users beat perfect code. Instrument, learn, iterate — then refactor with confidence.

How I Work

From spec to production.

01
Research

Understand users, constraints, and metrics that matter.

02
Architecture

Map data flow, boundaries, and technical unknowns early.

03
Design

Prototype interactions in code; validate with real content.

04
Development

Type-safe, tested, componentized — one PR at a time.

05
Testing

Unit, integration, and accessibility checks in CI.

06
Deployment

Preview per branch, progressive rollout, feature flags.

07
Optimization

Ship, measure Web Vitals, tighten the hot path.

08
Monitoring

Sentry, analytics, real user metrics — always on.

09
Iteration

Learn from usage, retire what doesn't earn its keep.

GitHub

Consistent daily practice.

Public work, open-source contributions, and a lot of small learning experiments.
